COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Tests (ART) are available at selected Healthway Medical Clinics islandwide, as approved by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
From 1st April 2023, in line with MOH’s announcement, the provision of government-funded COVID-19 testing (ART, PCR) will be deactivated. Our clinics will continue to provide self-paid COVID-19 testing (ART, PCR) for patients who require this service.
COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test (ART) is used for pre-event testing and pre-departure testing*.
*Please ensure that your destination country accepts Antigen Rapid Test results, and that your testing window is within the pre-departure testing requirements.

What is the difference between COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test (ART) and PCR swab test?
COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test (ART) is a nasal swab test taken from the lower section of the nose. It is cheaper and has a quicker turnaround time than the PCR swab test. However, COVID-19 ART is less accurate than the PCR swab test.
How will I receive the results of my COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test (ART)?
You will receive your COVID-19 ART results via SMS notification.
How long do I have to wait for the results of my COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test (ART)?
COVID-19 ART test results will be ready within 30 minutes.
What are the required documents to get the COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test (ART)?
You will need to present your NRIC to get the COVID-19 ART at selected Healthway Medical GP clinics.
