Senior Consultant Urologist; Functional, Female and Reconstructive Urology
Dr Koh Li-Tsa is a Sydney fellowship trained Senior Consultant Urologist who graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2003, obtained her Masters of Medicine (Surgery) and became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2007. She completed her advanced specialist training in Urology in 2011. She is a fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. From 2013 to 2014, Dr Koh Li-Tsa did a one year fellowship in Urinary Incontinence and Uro-Oncology at Concord Repatriation General Hospital in Sydney, Australia. She has served as Clinical Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine in NUS, Clinical Teacher at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and a physician faculty member of the SingHealth Urology Residency Program. In recognition of her passion to teach, Dr Koh has previously received the Best Teacher Award (Surgery) from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore as well as the Best Educator Award (Medical – Undergraduate) from Changi General Hospital.
Dr Koh Li-Tsa has a special interest in Functional Urology dealing with bladder related symptoms, urinary incontinence and female urogenital prolapse. Her sub-specialized procedures include; tapes, slings, injectables and artificial urinary sphincter, injection of bladder relaxing medication, laser therapy for stress incontinence, Posterior Tibial Nerve Stimulation (PTNS) and Reconstructive Urology such as Urethroplasty for Urethral Strictures, Urethral Diverticulum and repair of Vesico-Vaginal Fistula (VVF).
Dr Koh Li-Tsa was formerly a Senior Consultant Urologist at Changi General Hospital and remains a Visiting Consultant with Changi General Hospital. Dr Koh Li-Tsa has presented and published her research findings in Urology at local as well as international conferences and journals, some of which received awards for best scientific poster. She has also served as a reviewer for various international Urological journals. Dr Koh Li-Tsa has been invited to speak at local and regional conferences regarding urinary incontinence, nocturia and UTIs.
Dr Koh Li-Tsa’s commitment to her patients has earned her Gold and Silver Caring Awards from SingHealth. Dr Koh Li-Tsa has been volunteering with Filos Community Services as a befriender to the elderly since 2018. She has also previously been involved in medical missions providing humanitarian aid in Sri Lanka following the 2004 Tsunami and running clinics in Cambodia.
