Dental Surgeon
Dr Joseph Shin graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours.
After graduating, Dr. Shin spent three years practising in Melbourne before relocating to Singapore, where he has lived and worked for over eight years. He was awarded the Best Student in Restorative Dentistry for his expertise in crowns, bridges, and dentures, which remains his strong suit today. Dr. Shin has also contributed to dental volunteering efforts, providing essential treatments to underserved communities in Vanuatu.
Dr Shin attended Master of Science in Oral Implantology degree at Goethe University Frankfurt from 2017-2019, completing more than 320 hours of implant training from top lecturers from Europe and the US.
Following extensive training, Dr. Shin’s key interests lie in implants and restorative dentistry, particularly implant crowns, crowns, and dentures. He specialises in replacing and restoring missing or damaged teeth, helping patients improve their smile and dental function.
Dr Shin completed Advanced Implant Courses in Osstem and Dentium Implants and Comprehensive Orthodontic Course in Singapore and Sydney. Dr Shin is also proficient in using Osstem, Dentium, Megagen and MIS implants. He is a certified provider of Invisalign and Clear Correct aligners.
