Healthier SG is a national preventive care programme by Singapore’s Ministry of Health.
It is designed to help you take care of your health before problems develop or become more serious, instead of seeing a doctor only when you feel unwell.
Under Healthier SG, you can:
- Choose a regular Healthier SG family doctor
- Create a personalised Health Plan with your doctor
- Keep up with recommended health screenings and vaccinations
- Receive support for healthier lifestyle habits
- Manage existing chronic conditions
Healthier SG was launched in July 2023. As of May 2026, more than 1.4 million residents have enrolled in the programme.
Who Can Enrol in Healthier SG?
You can enrol if you are:
- A Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
- Aged 40 or above
Eligible residents can enrol through the HealthHub app/web portal, or walk-in to any of your preferred Healthway Medical clinics forassisted enrolment.

What Are the Benefits of Healthier SG?
Fully Subsidised Health Plan Consultations
Your first Health Plan consultation and subsequent annual Health Plan check-ins are fully subsidised. Charges may still apply if you receive treatment, medicines, tests or other services outside the scope of your Health Plan.
Screening and Vaccination Subsidies
Eligible Singapore Citizens receive special subsidies for recommended health screenings and vaccinations at their enrolled clinic.
These may include screening for:
- High blood pressure
- Diabetes
- High cholesterol
- Colorectal cancer
- Breast cancer
- Cervical cancer
Recommended vaccinations depend on your age, medical conditions and vaccination history. Screening and vaccination eligibility criteria apply.
More Support for Chronic Care
Subsidies
Eligible CHAS, Pioneer Generation and Merdeka Generation cardholders can receive means-tested subsidies of up to 87.5% on selected medications for chronic conditions under the Healthier SG Chronic Tier. These medicines are available from your enrolled Healthier SG GP clinic at prices comparable to polyclinics.
MediSave
You may use MediSave to pay for eligible treatments under the Chronic Disease Management Programme at your enrolled clinic without a cash co-payment, up to the prevailing MediSave withdrawal limits.
Earn Healthpoints
After completing your first Health Plan consultation, you can receive 3,000 Healthpoints, worth approximately $20, through the Healthy 365 app.
You may also receive a one-time 1,500 Healthpoints benefit, worth approximately $10, when you:
- Complete an in-person annual Health Plan check-in; and
- View your updated Health Plan on HealthHub after the check-in
Both steps must be completed between 1 July 2026 and 31 December 2029. This is a one-time benefit, not an annual reward.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. Enrolment in Healthier SG is voluntary. However, enrolling allows you to build a long-term relationship with a family doctor and access Healthier SG benefits at your enrolled clinic.
Yes. If you are eligible and aged 40 or above, you can try to enrol through the HealthHub app or visit a Healthier SG Enrolment Station even if you have not received an SMS invitation.

Your first Health Plan consultation and annual Health Plan check-ins are fully subsidised.
You may need to pay for treatment, medicines, tests or other services that are not included under Healthier SG.
Yes, you can still visit another GP or healthcare provider. However, clinic-based Healthier SG subsidies and benefits are generally available only at your enrolled Healthier SG clinic. Returning to the same clinic also offers better continuity of care.
Yes. You can change your enrolled clinic through HealthHub. Limits may apply after you have completed your first Health Plan consultation.
Your existing Health Plan will remain available in HealthHub after you change clinics.
No. Annual Health Plan check-ins may be conducted in person or by teleconsultation. Your enrolled Healthier SG clinic will advise which option is suitable for you.
If you are generally healthy with no known chronic conditions, it is recommended that you check in once a year. At least one check-in must be completed in person every three years. If you have one or more chronic conditions, your doctor may recommend two or more check-ins a year. At least one check-in must be completed in person each year.
To qualify for the one-time 1,500 Healthpoints benefit, you must complete an eligible annual Health Plan check-in in person and view your updated Health Plan on HealthHub.
Eligible enrollees may receive a one-time 1,500 Healthpoints benefit, worth approximately $10, after completing an in-person annual Health Plan check-in and viewing their updated Health Plan on HealthHub.
From 27 July 2026 to 27 January 2027, eligible enrollees aged 40 to 64 who have no chronic conditions and an existing Health Plan may also use the Health Plan AI beta feature for personalised exercise recommendations.
