Why Screening Matters
Feeling fine is not always the same as knowing you are fine. Conditions like high blood pressure, raised cholesterol and diabetes can build up quietly without obvious symptoms, and they are often easier to manage when detected earlier.
A regular health screening gives you a baseline, helps identify changes worth a closer look, and turns “I think I’m fine” into a clearer answer.
A baseline across the essentials
Every package covers the core checks that matter most, and the higher tiers build from there:
- Clinical assessment — height, weight, BMI, blood pressure
- Diabetes — blood glucose, with HbA1c from Silver upwards
- Lipids — total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL and ratio
Higher-tier packages may also include additional checks such as blood count, liver and kidney function, thyroid, hepatitis, selected tumour markers and vitamins.

Frequently Asked Questions
Any adult who wants a clear read on their health, even if they feel perfectly well. It's worth doing regularly, and especially if you have a family history or lifestyle risk factors you'd like to keep an eye on.
Most screenings take around 20 minutes. The more extensive packages include more blood tests and a doctor's examination, so they run a little longer.
Fasting depends on your appointment time and the tests in your programme. For morning appointments, please fast for at least 8 hours beforehand, plain water only. For afternoon slots, our team will advise. Some tests — such as abdominal ultrasound, treadmill stress test or urea breath test — may require fasting regardless of timing. We'll share the full preparation details when your appointment is confirmed.
Your NRIC, passport, employment pass or work permit; any recent medical reports (helpful, not essential); and a letter of guarantee from your insurer if applicable.
Your report will be ready in 5 to 7 days. We will then schedule a second appointment for your doctor to talk you through the results, recommend any next steps, and answer any health concerns you may have.

- Some tests may require preparation; full details will be shared upon confirmation.
- Dental services are provided at Healthway Dental and Tooth Stories clinics.
