Dr Cindy Xie provides comprehensive care under family medicine for all age groups and genders ranging from acute to chronic conditions, as well as preventive health such as childhood developmental screening, national childhood and adult immunizations and Screen For Life programmes. She has a particular interest in pediatric, women and dermatological conditions and is skilled in minor surgical procedures such as ingrown nail treatment, excision biopsy of common lumps and bumps, as well as intralesional injections. In addition, she is also a MOH-accredited assessor for the Lasting Power of Attorney and Severe Disability Schemes.
She graduated from the NUS Yong Loo Ling School of Medicine in 2011 and went on to obtain the Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) in 2022. She has completed stint in polyclinic as well as postings in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatric Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, General Surgery in Breast, Vascular, Trauma and Hepatobiliary Departments, Urology, Neurosurgery, A&E, Dermatology at notable hospitals in Singapore such as Singapore General Hospital, National University Hospital, KK Children and Women’s Hospital and National Skin Centre. Apart from work, she also participates actively in continuing medical education and is a member of the College of Family Physicians Singapore.
