96.3HaoFM: Breast Cancer Awareness with Dr Tan Qing Ting

Observed in October each year, Breast Cancer Awareness Month casts the spotlight on Breast Cancer, the most common cancer among women in Singapore.

Invited to share her experience and expertise on helping women manage and treat breast cancer, TEN Surgery Breast Specialist Dr Tan Qing Ting joined DJ Wang De Ming to discuss the topic on SPH Radio’s 96.3Hao FM on 7 October 2026.

Speaking on the mandarin station’s morning health and wellness programme 自德其乐, Dr Tan shared insights and tips on the importance of breast screening as early detection can make a big difference in treatment outcomes. She also discussed the importance of regular screening through monthly self-examinations as well as mammograms.
