Dr Weng Chao is a General Practitioner with a strong academic background and broad clinical experience. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Master of Science in Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, followed by his Doctor of Medicine at Duke NUS Graduate Medical School in Singapore.
He has gained comprehensive clinical experience across general surgery, orthopaedic surgery and internal medicine. Within primary care, he has a special interest in preventive health and the management of both acute and chronic medical conditions.
Dr Weng Chao has contributed to research in virology, hepatology and nutritional science, with published work in Digestive Medicine Research, Journal of Virology and Journal of Nutrition. He has also presented his research at the American Society for Virology Conference and the MCP Signal Transduction Research Training Symposium in the United States.
