Which Adult Vaccinations Are Subsidised in Singapore?

The vaccinations recommended for adults aged 18 and above are set out in the National Adult Immunisation Schedule (NAIS). ¹

If a vaccination is recommended for you under the NAIS and you meet the relevant eligibility criteria, you may receive a subsidy. These nationally recommended vaccinations are subsidised under Healthier SG Vaccinations. ²

Read the following article to learn which vaccinations may be recommended at different stages of adulthood.

Where you get vaccinatedHow the subsidy works
CHAS GP clinics, including participating Healthway Medical GP clinicsEligible Singapore Citizens have a fixed co-payment cap per dose, set by MOH. The amount depends on the vaccine and your subsidy group (full table below).
Your enrolled Healthier SG clinicEligible Singapore Citizen enrollees pay $0 for most recommended vaccinations. Shingles is the exception and still carries a capped fee.
Polyclinics / public healthcare institutionsEligible Singapore Citizens receive a 50% or 75% subsidy, depending on means testing; eligible Permanent Residents receive 25%.

How much do subsidised adult vaccinations cost?

The table below shows the maximum patient fee for each eligible dose at CHAS GP clinics, as well as what eligible Singapore Citizens pay at their enrolled Healthier SG clinic. These are per-dose fees; and some vaccinations require more than one dose. Your clinic will be able to share more details on required doses for your required vaccine.

When can you use MediSave for adult vaccinations?

People getting a vaccination to prevent pandemic concept

If a vaccination is recommended for you under the National Adult Immunisation Schedule (NAIS), you may use MediSave to pay for it, subject to the applicable withdrawal limit. Any subsidy you qualify for is applied first. You can then use your own or an eligible family member’s MediSave to pay for the remaining amount. ⁴

You can withdraw up to $500 per patient per year, or $700 for patients with complex chronic conditions.

This limit is shared across eligible chronic disease treatment, recommended vaccinations and selected preventive tests, so it is not a separate allowance just for vaccinations.

If you are aged 60 or older, you may use up to $400 per year from your own or your spouse’s MediSave under Flexi-MediSave (your spouse must also be aged 60 or older) for eligible outpatient care at polyclinics, public hospital Specialist Outpatient Clinics and participating CHAS GP clinics.⁷

What changes from 1 January 2027?

From 1 January 2027, MediSave500/700 will be renamed the MediSave Chronic and Preventive Care scheme, and its annual withdrawal limits will increase. ⁵

Until 31 Dec 2026From 1 Jan 2027
Basic annual limit$500$700
Complex chronic conditions$700$1,000

The MediSave Chronic and Preventive Care scheme will continue to cover eligible chronic disease treatment, recommended vaccinations and selected preventive care. These remain shared annual limits rather than separate allowances for each type of care. ⁵

If you're not sure what you're due for, your doctor can review your age, health conditions and vaccination history and advise what's recommended — and the clinic can check the subsidy that applies before you're vaccinated.
